Deer Leap

“We try to fake that we’re alive. We haven’t been for quite some time.”

I like them so much that I am doubling up the attention.  Although I just chose New Hampshire’s Deer Leap as part of the 405’s bi-weekly New Music Team Picks feature, I feel inclined to keep talking.  That’s how excited I am. The band just released a split with post-rock buddies (hold your breath) The World Is A Beautiful Place And I Am No Longer Afraid To Die, with four new tracks to follow the preceding five track demo. A nine track catalogue to their name – welcome to the world, Deer Leap.

i have not forgotten how to do this.

It has been a month and a half, but I have not forgotten how to do this. I have finished my MA and started a new job here in London.  Expect posts again – regularly. I am not lying.
