Penguins Kill Polar Bears, “Vessels and Veins” EP

“There is nothing more for you to see or do.”

Such love for the Scots.  The entire country is a hotbed of talent that with a list a mile long of fresh new bands (Frightened Rabbit, Admiral Fallow, Three Blind Wolves – to name only a few) that are growing in popularity far outside their own regional borders.  Penguins Kill Polar Bears is one such band on the rise.  The band’s newest EP, Vessels & Veins, is full of dreamy post-rock instrumentation and modest vocals, and follows in the footsteps of their debut, Dawn.  PKPB just came off of a sizable UK tour, which included a stop down here at London’s Bull and Gate – another great show I’ve missed.
