The Idle Hands, “Life Is Beautiful” EP

“Too much has passed between us for us to be strangers.”

It’s nice to hear news of a much under-appreciated Minneapolis band from all the way over here in London.  Even locally, the Idle Hands are getting far less attention than they have deserved over the past 5+ years.  I first ran across the band back in 2005 after hearing a demo for “Loaded”, a track that was released over here in the UK courtesy of the bright minds at LaVolta Records.  The band has since released a full length entitled The Hearts We Broke On The Way To The Show, which is a record that precedes the newest EP by a couple of years.  For more info, read my previous post from 2006. Life Is Beautiful was released earlier this week by Minneapolis label Pretty Kids Collective.
