the Xcerts, new “Slackerpop” single and video

“Why can’t I fall asleep?”

I’m still high on Aberdeen’s the Xcerts, and imagine I will be for a good long time.  The band is following up their fantastic debut In The Cold Wind We Smile with the new single “Slackerpop” from their soon to be released sophomore effort.  After traveling across the Atlantic to record with producer Mike Sapone (Brand New, Taking Back Sunday), the boys have a great new single and an even better new video to show for it.  The band is busy throughout the summer, including a couple of shows with American indie greats the Get Up Kids.  Keeped your eyes peeled for the new record.  Catch my past Xcerts posts here and here.
